She was a gamer who lived in her own world. However, her spiritual journey had many intriguing twists and turns.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRkPSu5Fxu3C1Tv4pvp9Ldi1_2Oc4ngdg3rrqXJQt7CDixLZ4IdY_7tbUFeI26yt5iNH_QX7oiJuaZnScN1S5bBwFlU1-LfvgCm3PSh1zMdckwzd_V6tRDs7MU0zIKQLc8k0u0EGCmnquPpTW6PEqDt-2t-ZeSo_J-9sax-lmH4s6WSXasld6pYgCBI9FE/s500/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="The Story of Melissa Oentoro" border="0" data-original-height="280" data-original-width="500" height="358" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRkPSu5Fxu3C1Tv4pvp9Ldi1_2Oc4ngdg3rrqXJQt7CDixLZ4IdY_7tbUFeI26yt5iNH_QX7oiJuaZnScN1S5bBwFlU1-LfvgCm3PSh1zMdckwzd_V6tRDs7MU0zIKQLc8k0u0EGCmnquPpTW6PEqDt-2t-ZeSo_J-9sax-lmH4s6WSXasld6pYgCBI9FE/w640-h358/image.png" title="The Story of Melissa Oentoro" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Story of Melissa Oentoro</td></tr></tbody></table><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><p></p><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>A Fearful Beginning</i></h2><p style="text-align: justify;">Melissa was introduced to Islam when she was still in kindergarten. However, her initial impression of this religion was not a positive one. When the 1998 riots rocked her country, Melissa felt scared. Because the majority of people around her were Muslims, she believed that Islam was the cause of these problems.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">"As a Chinese person in Indonesia, at that time the majority were Muslims," Melissa said. This event made her feel that this religion was the source of her and her family's troubles.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Hating Islam</i></h2><p style="text-align: justify;">As Melissa grew up, she nurtured her passion for gaming from a young age. Although active in her place of worship, she still had a negative view of Islam. In fact, she had intentions to change the faith of her Muslim gaming friend.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">But her plans didn't go as expected. Her friend changed the way Melissa looked at Islam. She began to question her own beliefs. Why was she still eating pork when her religious book prohibited it?</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Eye-Opening Questions</i></h2><p style="text-align: justify;">Melissa began pondering important questions. What is the concept of the Trinity? Why is God worshipped in three forms? Why does her religious book have differences in prayer?</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">To find answers, Melissa sought guidance from religious leaders. However, the answers she received were not satisfying. In fact, they only left her more confused. Nevertheless, this doubt ignited her desire to understand Islam more deeply.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>A Long Journey to Islam</i></h2><p style="text-align: justify;">Through the spiritual journey she embarked on since 2012, Melissa finally decided to convert to Islam in 2016. Islam gave her peace and made her a more thoughtful and logical person.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">"For me, Islam is a religion that makes me think. Its teachings are logical," she confidently stated.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">This is the intriguing story of Melissa Oentoro, a gamer who initially hated Islam but eventually found truth and tranquility in this religion. Her conversion journey teaches us that everyone has a different story, and sometimes, truth can be found through deep reflection.</p>Blogger Banjarmasinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08494111195191775678noreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-14619578774522241922023-08-30T13:40:00.003+07:002023-08-30T13:40:31.485+07:00The Story of Idris Tawfiq After Witnessing His Students Fasting<div style="text-align: justify;">The Story of a Foreigner, Former Religious Leader, Embracing Islam After Witnessing His Students Fasting</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqd1cgM_Wxk0sqi1bq8-wOFKwRe99VML24ard3NPEkTAkQd0fPItQrR7AsbcDasto_vZVl2qrtARXotquTEEOFZJwe-sk-wMFB85mGEozP3JvZwa1g7kmrz00jYD93dzbq-6ItGszLV5hHr0UX9X9rCluoWx6De0hDw-K7Kb1C4J7cXL7MO_Q97K83kWtL/s960/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="The Story of Idris Tawfiq" border="0" data-original-height="554" data-original-width="960" height="370" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqd1cgM_Wxk0sqi1bq8-wOFKwRe99VML24ard3NPEkTAkQd0fPItQrR7AsbcDasto_vZVl2qrtARXotquTEEOFZJwe-sk-wMFB85mGEozP3JvZwa1g7kmrz00jYD93dzbq-6ItGszLV5hHr0UX9X9rCluoWx6De0hDw-K7Kb1C4J7cXL7MO_Q97K83kWtL/w640-h370/image.png" title="The Story of Idris Tawfiq" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Story of Idris Tawfiq</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><blockquote><div style="text-align: justify;">Amidst the Radiance, He Felt Alone</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div></blockquote><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Beneath the spotlight of religious devotion that shone brightly, a profound yearning and emptiness hid within Idris Tawfiq, a foreigner who had long stood atop the ranks of a religious leader. Once finding fulfilment in guiding others in matters of spirituality, his heart seemed locked in a void of emptiness and solitude.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Exploration Towards Islam</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Through his journey as a religious teacher, imparting teachings of various faiths, Idris delved deeper into understanding Islam. He even joined in fasting as a sign of respect to them.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>The Light that Awakened Him</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">As Ramadan drew to a close, and the sun once again shone brightly, Idris felt something stirring in his heart. He dedicated 15 years of his life to his church with unwavering dedication and fervour. As the leader of Corinthian Church, he managed to gather around 1,000 faithful congregants.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0etIuKfxTvdtftdWRX8EIK5fqvj8D2pb5jKkHcEP9JIsGIFXr46JDfXD8OtIHZdN-umx_ev0BimdtK3JrSr3WPRyHZxsuDGy7gFyh24h5dsx_fI9aHuL_k7ZD2_stKDNhSa6AANa4-nNBiPWsyqYIdaQ4F6oQFzH9MTiLteXStQ0gbIM8Y8rDipHpv36k/s530/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="ibrahim richmond south africa" border="0" data-original-height="318" data-original-width="530" height="384" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0etIuKfxTvdtftdWRX8EIK5fqvj8D2pb5jKkHcEP9JIsGIFXr46JDfXD8OtIHZdN-umx_ev0BimdtK3JrSr3WPRyHZxsuDGy7gFyh24h5dsx_fI9aHuL_k7ZD2_stKDNhSa6AANa4-nNBiPWsyqYIdaQ4F6oQFzH9MTiLteXStQ0gbIM8Y8rDipHpv36k/w640-h384/image.png" title="ibrahim richmond south africa" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">ibrahim richmond south africa</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Tracing the Spiritual Footprints that Captivated the World</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">However, his destiny took a turn when an intriguing story about him spread like wildfire across several social media platforms. It all began when the owner of the Twitter account @Islamabadies decided to share his tale. The date June 27, 2023, would be remembered as the day that changed everything.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>A Journey Towards a New Light</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">In an image posted by @Islamabadies, Ibrahim could be seen dressed in white ihram attire. Through the video, he recounted the remarkable spiritual journey from a Christian Pastor to a Muslim. It all started with a dream that evolved into a new milestone in his life.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>A Meaningful Dream</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Initially, Ibrahim dismissed the dream. Yet, the dream haunted him with a persistence that stirred his heart. In the dream, a gentle voice instructed him to wear a white skullcap, a command that echoed relentlessly in his mind.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>An Unignorable Voice</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Despite trying to set aside the voice in the dream, he felt that the calling grew stronger and unavoidable. The voice became more intense, more aggressive, "Tell the man!" as if reminding him of the task at hand.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>A Captivating Transformation</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Finally, unable to resist any longer, Ibrahim shared the dream with his congregation. Just as in the dream, at the subsequent meeting, the entire congregation appeared in white attire, showing their solidarity with their pastor's transformation.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Carving a New History</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Then came the extraordinary moment. Alongside his entire congregation, Ibrahim uttered the Shahada, affirming their new faith. There was no rejection, only warm acceptance and mutual support among them.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>From Virality to a Sacred Calling</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">The video of the event went viral, capturing not only the public's attention but also that of King Salman. Ibrahim's feat reached the ears of the King, and with great respect, he was invited to perform the Hajj in the same year, 2023.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>From Doubt to Acceptance</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Though initially doubtful and finding it hard to believe, Ibrahim suddenly found himself on the sacred path of Hajj, a journey rich in meaning and spirituality. His love for his religion and his astonishing spiritual journey have inspired many and demonstrated how unexpectedly amazing life's path can be.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In a world that keeps on spinning, Ibrahim Richmond's story reminds us that change is a natural part of life, and sometimes, when we listen to the voice of our heart, extraordinary things can happen.</div>Blogger Banjarmasinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08494111195191775678noreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-71725772076442629352023-08-06T09:09:00.004+07:002023-08-06T09:09:43.587+07:00The Story of Sinead O'Connor's Melodies and Faith<div style="text-align: justify;">Once there was a renowned musician from Ireland named Sinead O'Connor. Wearing a hijab and a gown, Sinead touched on the word "return," implying that she felt like a lifelong Muslim without realizing it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Initially, Sinead never thought about converting to another religion. She simply wanted to discover the truth about God, which led her to explore various religions and sacred texts. However, after reading two chapters (juz) from the Quran, her heart was moved, and she felt like she had come home to God. She realized that she had been a Muslim all along, but she hadn't recognized it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Embracing Islam: Sinead's Spiritual Revelation</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">In 2018, Sinead announced proudly via Twitter that she had converted to Islam. She believed it was a natural conclusion in her journey as a thoughtful theologian, as she thought all sacred texts pointed to Islam.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">After becoming a Muslim, Sinead decided to sell her pre-Islamic clothes and donated the proceeds to an organization called Bray Women's Refuge, which provides care and shelter to women and children in need.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>The Transformation into Shuhada Sadaqat</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">After embracing Islam, Sinead O'Connor changed her name to Shuhada Sadaqat. But now, sad news arrived - Sinead passed away at the age of 56. Her family and friends felt the loss deeply, mourning the departure of someone they cherished.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Before her passing, Sinead also struggled with mental health issues, particularly agoraphobia, which made her fearful of being in places without access to help. She was always open about this matter on social media and during interviews.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sinead O'Connor/Shuhada Sadaqat was a figure of great struggle in her search for meaning in life. She leaves behind an inspiring legacy for many, especially in her sincerity and dedication to religion and humanity. May she find a worthy place in God's presence after a life journey filled with bravery and devotion.</div>Blogger Banjarmasinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08494111195191775678noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-79368686633993620762023-07-29T18:51:00.005+07:002023-07-29T18:52:49.811+07:00The Story of Arnoud Van Doorn, Losing it All for a Greater Purpose<div style="text-align: justify;">This is the story of Arnoud Van Doorn. At one point, when people started to know that I had converted to Islam, I lost my job. As a result, I had to move and sell my house to live in a smaller one. I also had to sell my car, which meant my life became less luxurious than before.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN6q-SjO9udZHxJpFqlEODil4Vt5ID_ve2lWbk959593Mro7abKK7t0hBaINI4Z2vGxtBulPp3VmlwdV6WhQow_rW_WF7dxNz_BUfhC9Cw_Fii4ughFKCO0mwkrDhTT7a_TJqCQ9fINoyrB0RV0v9CmpT4c8vqPsrSMjUr3hKROoxs3liurklc-7pKEkeK/s1200/image.png" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="The Story of Arnoud Van Doorn" border="0" data-original-height="675" data-original-width="1200" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN6q-SjO9udZHxJpFqlEODil4Vt5ID_ve2lWbk959593Mro7abKK7t0hBaINI4Z2vGxtBulPp3VmlwdV6WhQow_rW_WF7dxNz_BUfhC9Cw_Fii4ughFKCO0mwkrDhTT7a_TJqCQ9fINoyrB0RV0v9CmpT4c8vqPsrSMjUr3hKROoxs3liurklc-7pKEkeK/w640-h360/image.png" title="The Story of Arnoud Van Doorn" width="640" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The Story of Arnoud Van Doorn</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Misguided Perception</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">During that time, I was a member of the Dutch Freedom Party, which held anti-Islamic views and promoted Islamophobia in the Netherlands. I supported these views and believed that fighting against Islam was crucial.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Arnoud was also involved in the production and dissemination of the film "Fitna," which insulted Prophet Muhammad, leading to anger among Muslims worldwide. He also believed that violence and terrorism were inherent in Islam.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I found myself within the circle of a political Islamic group and became a part of that Islamic political party. At that time, I strongly supported and believed in their struggle. However, now I deeply regret it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Previously, like many people in Western countries, I obtained information about Islam from the media and politicians. Unfortunately, my views about Islam were negative, and I considered it a threat to society and our freedom.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>The Process of Converting to Islam</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">However, as I interacted with more Muslims in the Netherlands, my perspective began to change. I met many kind and friendly people who invited me to learn more about Islam to gain a better understanding. Although I initially doubted their intentions, thinking they were trying to brainwash me, I eventually decided to understand Islam by reading the Quran and conversing with imams and other Muslims.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">At first, I still saw Muslim converts as pretending to be good and trying to manipulate me. Even though they were kind to me, I didn't believe their sincerity.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">During this learning process, my understanding of Islam started to touch my heart. I realized that all the negative views I held were wrong. I felt that Islam was the true religion and answered many unanswered questions in my heart.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Drastic Change of Life</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">The journey from being a non-Muslim to a Muslim took about a year. Finally, in 2013, I officially embraced Islam.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">After people found out about my conversion, I lost my job and had to face drastic lifestyle changes. I had to sell my house and car. Although my life became less lavish, I felt happier than ever before. I realized that a simpler life brought greater satisfaction to my heart.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I learned that since embracing Islam, money and material possessions were no longer everything to me. Living modestly and helping others meant more and filled the void in my heart. This experience proved that materialism and wealth cannot fill the true happiness within.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I also got involved in some small projects that helped the less fortunate in society. Although these projects were not specifically related to Islam, as a Muslim, I felt a responsibility to help those in need. We tried to assist underprivileged children by providing school books and other necessities. Additionally, we collaborated with entrepreneurs to build small houses for those living on the streets. Although these projects may seem small, for me, helping others is valuable and brings happiness.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">---</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ix9r3YN2XuQ" title="YouTube video player" width="560"></iframe></div>Blogger Banjarmasinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08494111195191775678noreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-31454866613699920662023-07-23T22:52:00.002+07:002023-07-23T22:52:49.263+07:00The Story of a Son Who Hid His Blind Mother's Love<p style="text-align: justify;">Once upon a time in a modern Arab land, there lived a mother with her 13-year-old son. The mother had a unique condition - she was blind, but not like most blind people. Her eye sockets were concave, giving her a somewhat eerie appearance.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Every day, the devoted mother would accompany her son to school, holding his hand as she walked. After dropping him off, she would return home, navigating the path with her trusty cane. Despite her condition, the mother remained patient and selfless, giving her all to her son, for besides Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, no one loves us more than a mother.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">However, something troubled the son's heart. He felt ashamed of his mother's blindness, and his schoolmates would mock him for it. One day, he asked his mother not to accompany him to school anymore, embarrassed by her perceived frightening appearance.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Though hurt, the mother remained patient and refused to take offense. She chose to remain silent and acquiesce to her son's wishes, so he wouldn't be ridiculed further for her condition. She suppressed her feelings for the sake of her son's well-being.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnejq63ySuapv4sl2glfPxX2fzk8K3agCRSDRVT-aINmIrbywBeX7NYooJVxR0rsba0mx0qEyvyezfMh1LiivMzKAscNiKRMr_-T7DVor8FPKA0JbRD36wIEcT8eB9A6sn73_tKj0rfdR_RP7Es86mxzZLfYcxu6RvU2BAMYMkHMAuRkCUdsLCDOr_wXy5/s343/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Story of a Son Who Hid His Blind Mother's Love" border="0" data-original-height="218" data-original-width="343" height="406" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnejq63ySuapv4sl2glfPxX2fzk8K3agCRSDRVT-aINmIrbywBeX7NYooJVxR0rsba0mx0qEyvyezfMh1LiivMzKAscNiKRMr_-T7DVor8FPKA0JbRD36wIEcT8eB9A6sn73_tKj0rfdR_RP7Es86mxzZLfYcxu6RvU2BAMYMkHMAuRkCUdsLCDOr_wXy5/w640-h406/image.png" title="Story of a Son Who Hid His Blind Mother's Love" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: justify;">------</span></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;">As time passed, the son grew up, graduated from college, and secured a good job, achieving financial stability. However, he kept his mother's blindness a secret and refused to acknowledge her existence.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">One day, he got married, deliberately excluding his mother from the wedding festivities, claiming his parents had already passed away. He couldn't bear to face the reality of his blind mother's presence.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">After his marriage, the son had two children, and occasionally, he would visit his mother in secret, without his wife or kids knowing. Eventually, he received a promotion at work that required him to relocate abroad to an Arab country, and he moved there with his family.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Meanwhile, his blind mother remained in her homeland, yearning for her son's return. With the help of her neighbors, she tried to find information about her son's whereabouts. </p><p style="text-align: center;">----</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Finally, after years of saving up, she managed to purchase a plane ticket, determined to meet her son. Upon arriving at her son's doorstep in a foreign land, the mother's heart pounded with anticipation. Unfortunately, when her son realized who stood at the door, he quickly closed it. He was still too embarrassed to acknowledge his mother in front of his wife and children. The son arranged for his mother to be sent back to her homeland on a plane. Heartbroken, she returned, feeling rejected by the son she longed to see. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Later, her son received a letter from a neighbor in their homeland, informing him that his mother had passed away.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">In her final letter, the blind mother revealed a shocking truth to her son. She was not born blind; in fact, she willingly sacrificed her eyesight for him, out of her immense love and compassion. The son broke down in tears, realizing the magnitude of his mother's love and patience throughout her life.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Regrettably, it was too late for him to apologize and express his gratitude to his mother. All he could do was pray and hope for Allah's forgiveness for his past behavior.</p><p style="text-align: center;">-----</p><p style="text-align: justify;">This story serves as a reminder of the importance of cherishing and loving our parents, especially our mothers, who selflessly give their all. We should be grateful and thankful for their love and sacrifices throughout our lives, even if we sometimes get caught up in our own concerns or feel embarrassed by their shortcomings.</p>Blogger Banjarmasinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08494111195191775678noreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-81288916555481288812023-07-12T13:06:00.005+07:002023-07-12T13:06:34.035+07:00The Story of the First Idol, From Art to Worship<div style="text-align: justify;">In the past, statues were highly valued works of art usually created by sculptors. However, there is an interesting story about what happens when human creations become objects of worship for people, in other words, idols, despite the fact that humans should only worship Allah as the Creator of everything on this earth.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ1RfXT3UStyKeC6OBkWihMUEJGRlLVzYLf67abgYtSXvujlB0ZW9eCl9NlJm9VKAVVPBqtfwNtMA9tbMWza6yCIN31ymvQ3NipUV8tpWa8eLTGCAZPd6l7fcZAGcRC6mo4FwnBNGrZrecogo8PysYj-OUR9ojMXOe4wlAwkE9ChYP0u4F1u9YClp-uKbN/s1125/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Story of the First Idol" border="0" data-original-height="750" data-original-width="1125" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ1RfXT3UStyKeC6OBkWihMUEJGRlLVzYLf67abgYtSXvujlB0ZW9eCl9NlJm9VKAVVPBqtfwNtMA9tbMWza6yCIN31ymvQ3NipUV8tpWa8eLTGCAZPd6l7fcZAGcRC6mo4FwnBNGrZrecogo8PysYj-OUR9ojMXOe4wlAwkE9ChYP0u4F1u9YClp-uKbN/w640-h426/image.png" title="Story of the First Idol" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><h2><i>The Beginning</i></h2></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The story begins in the time after the creation of the first human, Prophet Adam. At that time, before Prophet Noah was sent as a prophet, there were five individuals who were righteous and obedient to Allah's commands. They were Wadd, the Father, who had four children named Suwa, Yaquts, Ya'uq, and Nashr. They were a righteous family with many followers. They had excellent morals and were greatly loved by their followers.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">However, one by one, they passed away, and their mission was passed on to their children. Generation after generation, until one day, their descendants, who were beloved by the people, left this world. People who felt the loss of this family were very sad.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">They then made five statues symbolizing the five righteous individuals from their family. They placed these statues in a field where people often passed by. Initially, people saw these statues as symbols of the goodness and righteousness of the five individuals. They felt inspired and desired to worship better.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">However, in the next generation, a devil disguised as a human approached them and told them that the statues were actually made to bring them closer to Allah. The devil incited them to make more statues and place them in their own homes so they could always see the statues.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>The First Idol</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Eventually, in the third generation, the statues started to be worshipped as idols. This marked the beginning of the sin of polytheism, where people worshipped beings other than Allah. Since then, humans began to worship various types of idols such as the sun, moon, fire, and others. The forms of idols became more diverse, including money and leaders.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As a consequence of idol worship, Allah destroyed all those involved in the practice of polytheism through a flood during the time of Prophet Noah. Only Prophet Noah, his family, and a few of his faithful followers were saved in the ark that he built.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">That is the story of the first idol worshipped by humans in the world.</div>Blogger Banjarmasinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08494111195191775678noreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-62100936655519918072023-07-04T14:20:00.001+07:002023-07-04T14:20:21.400+07:00Story When Angels Participate in the Battle of Badr<div style="text-align: justify;">On the battlefield of Badr, the atmosphere was tense. The Muslim army, small in number, entered the battle with fervent faith. They launched attack after attack, beheading their enemies from the Quraysh tribe. However, behind the fierce warfare, a great secret was hidden that would change the fate of the Muslims.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Allah witnessed the tireless struggle of the Muslim community. In His mercy, Allah sent His unseen forces: the angels. These angels descended from the heavens to assist and secure victory for the Muslim army.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Allah says in the Quran, </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>'Indeed, Allah helped you at Badr when you were weak.' (Surah Al-Imran 3:123). </i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In another verse, Allah states, </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>'When you asked help from your Lord, so He answered you, "Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand angels, following one another." (Surah Al-Anfal 8:9) </i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In Surah Al-Anfal, verse 12, Allah says, </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>'When your Lord inspired to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved."'</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTm-6ibDHVPVuDQWlIinPb8DbYZiv-59VFaEFU12YEpfTV6vsNx6_m2WWzUJP-m-bI69ATUGDKXGY5LLHTKL6UWlzEXyGoC_MnS_RqNRAN9U3vycWTM8fNmSPfN3a2R6YBoRagZDavW_w5HWPfC7TTPuIW1H2e10nwGrA7S813uE2Zqy_gPcR4xYybQUYS/s1125/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Battle of Badr" border="0" data-original-height="750" data-original-width="1125" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTm-6ibDHVPVuDQWlIinPb8DbYZiv-59VFaEFU12YEpfTV6vsNx6_m2WWzUJP-m-bI69ATUGDKXGY5LLHTKL6UWlzEXyGoC_MnS_RqNRAN9U3vycWTM8fNmSPfN3a2R6YBoRagZDavW_w5HWPfC7TTPuIW1H2e10nwGrA7S813uE2Zqy_gPcR4xYybQUYS/w640-h426/image.png" title="Battle of Badr" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Evidence of the presence of angels in the Battle of Badr is also recorded in an authentic hadith. Umar bin Al-Khattab, the caliph, reported a miraculous incident he witnessed. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>"During the pursuit of a polytheist, a Muslim was surprised to hear the sound of a whip above him and the voice of a horse rider saying, 'Advance, O Haizum!' Suddenly, the polytheist he was chasing fell to the ground. When the Muslim saw him, he was astonished to find the polytheist's nose cut off and his face severely injured. When the Anshar who witnessed the incident reported it to Prophet Muhammad, he replied, 'It was the help from the third heaven." (Narrated by Muslim)</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Another story that demonstrates the miracle of angels occurred when an Anshar brought a captive named Al-Abbas bin Abdil Muthalib, who claimed to have been captured by a handsome figure riding a beautiful horse. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>"Al-Abbas said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I swear by Allah that this person did not capture me. The one who captured me is someone extremely handsome riding a magnificent horse that no one among your people has.' Then the Anshar said, 'It was me who captured him, O Messenger of Allah!' Upon hearing this, Prophet Muhammad said to him, 'Be silent! Indeed, Allah aided you with a noble angel. This hadith was authenticated by Al-Albani in the book Fiqh Siroh)"</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i><br /></i></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The participation of angels in the Battle of Badr is also mentioned in the narration of Imam Al-Bukhari. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><i>"Jibril came to Prophet Muhammad and asked about their opinion of the people of Badr. The Prophet replied that they were among the best Muslims or words to that effect. Jibril reiterated that the angels also witnessed the Battle of Badr. (Narrated by Al-Bukhari)"</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The story of the Battle of Badr serves as undeniable evidence that Allah never forsakes His servants in their struggles. He sends His unseen assistance, the angels, to aid the Muslim community in achieving victory.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In every step of our struggle, let us hold firmly to faith and seek the help of Allah. For behind our struggles, the greatest secret of victory may be hidden. Just like in the Battle of Badr, the angels are the heavenly assistance that brings triumph.</div>Blogger Banjarmasinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08494111195191775678noreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-55282781918781458792023-06-26T14:15:00.004+07:002023-06-26T14:15:51.887+07:00Story of Fudhail, Thief's Heart's Journey<div style="text-align: justify;">Fudhail, a Night-Stalking Thief, Executes His Actions with Determination. In the Silent Darkness, He Sneaks towards a Sheep Pen. His Intention: Stealing a Sheep Belonging to a Wealthy Merchant.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">With Cunning, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> draws his sharply honed knife. Swiftly, he grabs one of the sheep nearby and skillfully slaughters it. The sheep immediately falls lifeless, before it even has a chance to make a sound. However, this sudden act agitates the other sheep, creating a commotion. One by one, the panicked sheep start bleating.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Quickly, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> hoists the lifeless sheep and they both flee as fast as they can. Despite the weight of the sheep on his shoulders, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> cannot afford to stop. He realizes that his life would be at stake if he gets caught.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Finally, after evading pursuit and danger, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> manages to return home safely. Without wasting time, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> immediately skins the sheep and cuts its meat into pieces. In his mind, he plans to sell the sheep's meat the next morning. However, he also realizes that he cannot continue with these petty thefts forever.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-xWhVWQ_XKEwYtvFfAkv3fATUEU7TTC2CdOQqu1ye0DOxFo7DH3zTaf5UzSItgzDuaswzkH3zghya91qYsqrrv5_ATFrd7AlOzxTDhS_DkRzStvxX_dQm5ZWAq6NGK5CkO16OqVIA8BZue1yAFjt7vv5cH8zTlO0LuCkUGNJC90zm_G-2-OLNmWbBc66L/s1260/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Thief's Journey" border="0" data-original-height="621" data-original-width="1260" height="316" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh-xWhVWQ_XKEwYtvFfAkv3fATUEU7TTC2CdOQqu1ye0DOxFo7DH3zTaf5UzSItgzDuaswzkH3zghya91qYsqrrv5_ATFrd7AlOzxTDhS_DkRzStvxX_dQm5ZWAq6NGK5CkO16OqVIA8BZue1yAFjt7vv5cH8zTlO0LuCkUGNJC90zm_G-2-OLNmWbBc66L/w640-h316/image.png" title="Thief's Journey" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">------</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Years pass, and <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> drifts further away from the path of righteousness. He becomes not only a thief but also a robber and a killer. He no longer fears the laws of men. As long as he eludes capture, he feels safe. Such thoughts continue to dominate <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail'</span>s mind and heart.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Amidst his descent into darkness, those closest to <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> frequently attempt to persuade him to return to the right path and abandon his criminal activities. However, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> never listens to such advice. He feels no fear towards anyone, not even towards the God worshipped by those around him.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">One day, a sensational news reaches <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span>'s ears. A wealthy merchant has just moved to their town. The merchant's house is grand and filled with valuable possessions. Rumor has it that he is a highly successful jewelry trader.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Fudhail sees this as an unmissable golden opportunity. He immediately devises a plan to rob the luxurious house. After thorough preparations, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> embarks on his journey towards the target location. With ease, he scales the wall's gate and leaps onto the second floor by hanging onto a pipe.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">To his astonishment, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> realizes that the second-floor balcony is guarded by a watchman. He observes the guard meticulously patrolling and vigilantly scanning the surroundings.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"But I've already come this far; it's impossible to retreat now," mutters <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span>, attempting to uphold his courage. With agile and stealthy movements, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> successfully bypass the guard.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Ah, it seems I have gone too far. Is the guard dead?" whispers <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> to himself. Although he has been involved in previous killings, he now feels uneasy due to the lack of careful planning in this impromptu act.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Fudhail proceeds towards the window, intending to enter the house. However, his steps halt upon hearing a melodious voice filling the air.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">-------- </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Fudhail sighs deeply with profound disappointment. He never expected his plan to unravel like this. Enraptured, he starts to recognize what the owner of the house is reciting. Yet, it is not a mere song but the recitation of the Quran.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Fudhail has heard this recitation before, but this time, a miracle occurs. The voice is enchanting and fluent. It permeates <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span>'s heart with unparalleled tenderness. He experiences a sacred vibration he has never felt before. Truly, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span>'s heart softens and captivates him with the beauty of that voice. He cannot linger there any longer and promptly departs from the premises.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Walking along a quiet street, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> stops at a ruin. He hides among the debris, unable to contain his tears. "Oh my Lord, my Master. I sincerely pray, I sincerely pray. I have neglected You for so long. Will You forgive me if I repent now?" exclaims <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> with a hopeful voice.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">After that moment, <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> goes to the city of Kufah to learn about religion from the eminent scholars there. <span style="text-align: start;">Fudhail</span> diligently acquires knowledge about Islam in a short period. As Muslims, we are aware from our education and knowledge since childhood that the satan, as mentioned by Islamic scholars, is an enemy of humanity since humans were created by Allah. Is the devil referred to in the Quran the same as the one feared by people today? Therefore, we must study together about this unseen realm created by Allah, so that we can understand Islam more easily and without doubts about the conflicts within it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In the Quran, the story of the scenario where Iblis (Devil) defied Allah is familiar to us. Allah created human beings, namely Prophet Adam, along with Iblis and the angels, and at that time commanded them to prostrate before Adam as a sign of respect. The angels obediently prostrated, except for Iblis, who refused to do so out of a sense of superiority over humans. As a result, Iblis was expelled from heaven by Allah and vowed to tempt and mislead Adam and his descendants to divert them from the path to Allah. The subsequent scenario is that Satan fulfilled his oath by tempting Adam and Eve until they were deceived and descended to Earth by Allah.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In Surah Al-A'raf:27, it is explained: "O children of Adam, do not let Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgChD117Z7VsgMCiImXVhqfp-65ZiIedSF6o_fcBaR_lXpmy-ZQNN_ri2cOcchTvApx95wI5Zs77V1Nu0IPIdSoikMlhm6Pmc5yXU9Jg9SwCCcEp3gCrXEG4aS-azqPFq7Jsdz_o2cIle7vyz4mHeUOH56Vr78bVozmBqtAeBAT1cAlJcSkH8oea_nHHgZ6/s1125/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Jinn, Iblis and Satan" border="0" data-original-height="750" data-original-width="1125" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgChD117Z7VsgMCiImXVhqfp-65ZiIedSF6o_fcBaR_lXpmy-ZQNN_ri2cOcchTvApx95wI5Zs77V1Nu0IPIdSoikMlhm6Pmc5yXU9Jg9SwCCcEp3gCrXEG4aS-azqPFq7Jsdz_o2cIle7vyz4mHeUOH56Vr78bVozmBqtAeBAT1cAlJcSkH8oea_nHHgZ6/w640-h426/image.png" title="Jinn, Iblis and Satan" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In Surah Al-Baqarah:168-169, it is mentioned: "O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful and good and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. He only orders you to evil and immorality and to say about Allah what you do not know."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As we commonly hear, the devil is indeed a real enemy to human beings, guiding them to commit evil, wickedness, and sins while enticing them. Therefore, do not forget to seek protection from temptations and sinful actions through seeking refuge (ta'awudz), prayers, recitation of Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Ma'thurat, and recitation of the Qur'an.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Returning to our main topic, how do we understand the differences between Jinn, Iblis, and Satan? Are they distinct or not?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>JINN, IBLIS, AND SATAN</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Through the study of the Quran and Hadith, it is known that Allah created existential beings in three forms: angels, jinn, and humans. "Angels were created from light, jinn were created from the blazing fire, and Adam was created from what you describe (earth)." (Narrated by Muslim)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h3 style="text-align: justify;">Jinn and Iblis</h3><div style="text-align: justify;">According to Asy Syibli, the term "jinn" linguistically means hidden, obstructed, or covered. Therefore, they are called jinn because these creatures are hidden and cannot be seen by ordinary humans. The term "jinn" shares the same root as the words for a fetus in the womb and a mad person. A fetus in the womb cannot be seen by the naked eye, hence called "janin." Similarly, a mad person is called "majnun" (from the root word "jann") because their sound mind is obstructed or hidden.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">On the other hand, "iblis" comes from the word "ablasa," which means despair and confusion. It is called "iblis". It is mentioned that jinn was created from fire, and in fact, Iblis and satan are among the jinn. Among the jinn, some are righteous, and those who are disobedient to Allah.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"And among us are righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways." (Quran, Surah Al-Jinn: 11)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"And among us are righteous, and among us [are] [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways. And whoever has responded to the guidance - they are the one who have achieved righteousness. But as for those who have deviated - they are only fuel for Hellfire." (Quran, Surah Al-Jinn: 14-15)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Therefore, it is clear that Iblis is a member of the jinn but one who disobeyed the command of Allah. Iblis, in his arrogance, refused to prostrate to Adam, who was created from a substance considered inferior to him.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"And [mention] when We said to the angels, 'Prostrate before Adam'; so they prostrated, except for Iblis. He was of the jinn and departed from the command of his Lord. Then will you take him and his descendants as allies other than Me while they are enemies to you? Wretched it is for the wrongdoers as an exchange." (Quran, Surah Al-Kahf: 50)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Iblis' arrogance and his perception of being superior led to his wrath from Allah. However, what we must remember and reflect upon is that honor in the sight of Allah does not come from status, wealth, beauty, or greatness, but from our piety and gratitude to the One who has bestowed everything upon us, Allah.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h3 style="text-align: justify;">Satan and Iblis</h3><div style="text-align: justify;">The term "satan" in Arabic comes from the word "syathana," which means to distance oneself. It refers to a creature that constantly tries to distance humans from truth and guidance.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Regarding the explanation of satan, it is mentioned in Surah Al-A'raaf, verses 16-17:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"[Iblis] said, 'Because You have put me in error, I will surely sit in wait for them on Your straight path. Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You]."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Iblis, in his efforts to tempt and mislead humans, is referred to as satan. Satan is a creature that seeks to distance humans from remembering Allah, as explained in the above definition.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">From its definition, it means that satan is an evil character or attribute that is inherent in Iblis. However, Iblis is also a member of the jinn. Based on the definition of distancing, satan is not only associated with jinn but can also be attributed to humans. Humans can also tempt and distance others from the truth.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h3 style="text-align: justify;">Human</h3><div style="text-align: justify;">To further clarify that satan is attributed to both jinn and humans, it is mentioned in the explanations in the Quran:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"And thus We have made for every prophet an enemy - devils from mankind and jinn, inspiring to one another decorative speech in delusion. But if your Lord had willed, they would not have done it, so leave them and that which they invent." (Quran, Surah Al-An'am: 112)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And in the well-known Surah:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Say, 'I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer - who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind - from among the jinn and mankind." (Quran, Surah An-Nas: 1–6)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The above surahs explain that satan can originate from the Jinn and also from humans. Setan is truly an evil character that can be attached to anyone. We are born into this world accompanied by a satan whose task is to mislead us when our faith is weak. Additionally, we are accompanied by two angels who record our deeds in this world, both good and bad.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">That concludes the brief explanation of things that we may not have understood before. Further discussions can be provided to enhance our knowledge of the character of satan, enabling us to strive to avoid its influence.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">References:</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Holy Quran</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Hadiths</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Book: "Catatan Harian Setan: Mengungkap Strategi Rahasia Setan Menggoda Manusia dan Senjata Ampuh untuk Melumpuhkannya" by Muhammad Syafi'ie (2011)</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-70156151676447485202023-06-17T19:30:00.007+07:002023-06-17T19:30:00.146+07:00Are Hadiths Reliable and Authentic<div style="text-align: justify;">Hadiths play a vital role in Islamic traditions, offering valuable insights into the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). However, with numerous conflicting opinions and varying levels of authenticity, it becomes crucial to critically examine their reliability. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Understanding Hadiths</i></h2><h3 style="text-align: justify;"><ul><li>What are Hadiths?</li></ul></h3><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; padding: 0px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">Hadiths are sayings, actions, and approvals attributed to Prophet Muhammad. They serve as a significant source of Islamic law, ethics, and guidance for Muslims worldwide. These accounts were initially passed down orally and later documented by scholars.</div></blockquote><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h3 style="text-align: justify;"><ul><li>The Importance of Hadiths</li></ul></h3><blockquote style="border: none; margin: 0px 0px 0px 40px; padding: 0px;"><div style="text-align: justify;">Hadiths provide insights into the Prophet's character, his interactions, and his teachings. However, it is crucial to distinguish between genuine hadiths and fabricated ones. Scholars have developed strict methodologies to identify and discard weak or fabricated hadiths, ensuring the preservation of the Prophet's authentic teachings.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Contextual Understanding</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">Another criticism stems from a lack of contextual understanding when interpreting certain hadiths. Scholars emphasize the importance of considering the historical, social, and cultural contexts in which these sayings were uttered. By understanding the background, we can avoid misinterpretations and misconceptions.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">In conclusion, hadiths are invaluable treasures that provide Muslims with a deeper understanding of their faith and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. Through meticulous scholarly efforts, hadiths have been authenticated, classified, and preserved, ensuring their reliability and authenticity.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">It is important to approach hadiths with an open mind, seeking guidance from scholars and reputable sources. Trials will always approach our lives, and we will never be exempt from them. Starting from what the eyes see, what the ears hear, and the vibrations of the heart, all of them are influenced by nature in all its beautiful and captivating forms.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The sight of the eyes beholding the beauty of the world, combined with the melodious tales about it, makes the heart attached, always desiring and commanding the mind to think about how to obtain it. Fantasies arise, and the whole body is moved to pursue all worldly dreams with all their pleasures.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Within certain limits, enjoying the world is not prohibited. The problem arises when the turmoil within the heart flares up and blinds the eyes to the ultimate purpose of life. The only thing present in the heart and mind is how to attain all that, by any means possible, envisioning self-pleasure even if it remains in the realm of imagination. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Eventually, the entire body becomes exhausted, the mind restless, and the heart becomes anxious because all the fantasies have yet to materialize. One forgets that life is indeed limited, strength is limited, thoughts are limited, and, most frighteningly, one forgets about the aspirations for the hereafter.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Restlessness, anxiety, and deep worry in chasing worldly obsessions must be ended immediately. Regardless of the reasons, worldly affairs will undoubtedly come to an end. It is time to relearn the conviction that worldly affairs are already taken care of by Allah, whoever He may be, and no one will be exempt from His blessings.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">We must fulfill what is assigned to us as servants, with the abilities bestowed upon us as divine gifts. So, let the heart be calm regarding worldly matters, and let the heart be restless for matters concerning the hereafter because that is where the accountability lies for all that we do. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">No one can bear the consequences of our actions except ourselves.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwKspv8e6zMqeFfl85TrqqlacWRwzzfdDB2IP1f-wcKyateaEnKPyMYFQa1ctJwpmNO5IDyKaeV6OY9VfT8DGwo22S0t6Qe3wPbh3Z4H3HskOfMrOTeNefrSDsJu9U7bZvDjkkE5DIM_blIZYYiWL2Fusrje92ZzCGjXwr6eHqx291B7MwydxjQ05zCg/s1125/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="muslim prayer" border="0" data-original-height="750" data-original-width="1125" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwKspv8e6zMqeFfl85TrqqlacWRwzzfdDB2IP1f-wcKyateaEnKPyMYFQa1ctJwpmNO5IDyKaeV6OY9VfT8DGwo22S0t6Qe3wPbh3Z4H3HskOfMrOTeNefrSDsJu9U7bZvDjkkE5DIM_blIZYYiWL2Fusrje92ZzCGjXwr6eHqx291B7MwydxjQ05zCg/w640-h426/image.png" title="muslim prayer" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;">With concern for the hereafter, it is time to organize all the matters of the hereafter and continually contemplate how to attain salvation when the Most Just Judgment calls upon us.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Once again, calm your heart regarding worldly affairs because Allah has guaranteed your sustenance, and let your concerns be for the hereafter as it will be your responsibility before Allah for all your deeds.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As Ibn Ata'illah said in the book Al-Hikam, </div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Relieve yourself from the burden of worldly affairs, for something that has already been taken care of for you by someone other than yourself (by Allah) does not require your involvement."</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-33123667180012801882023-06-08T09:21:00.003+07:002023-06-08T09:21:40.119+07:00When Late Attending Friday Prayer<div style="text-align: justify;">Prophet Muhammad said,</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: right;">احْضُرُوا الذِّكْرَ وَادْنُوا مِنَ الإِمَامِ فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لاَ يَزَالُ يَتَبَاعَدُ حَتَّى يُؤَخَّرَ فِى الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنْ دَخَلَهَا</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">"Attend the khutbah and come close to the imam, because indeed there are people who stay away until they end up in heaven even though they enter it." They distribute them in their neighborhood on the outskirts of Amsterdam.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">However, one day, heavy rain poured down on the city at a very cold temperature.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtCoPwX-dfUFW_g913k1R9jCIYutNo1Sxdzbi-vwNEioZwE5ccVvg8R_-z9RoDGYg7wnJmAdwPkdB55iGO-MrorPX-9XKMDtboGUERJvRHYItmNKwofpzxmmj6sHh7I9JmOR5Lsw2eYqUjMyhkzTdKvykQzbFp62Jm9EhORIIffWBw5gpa3D2qz8gYBg/s1600/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Little Angel Appeared" border="0" data-original-height="1067" data-original-width="1600" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtCoPwX-dfUFW_g913k1R9jCIYutNo1Sxdzbi-vwNEioZwE5ccVvg8R_-z9RoDGYg7wnJmAdwPkdB55iGO-MrorPX-9XKMDtboGUERJvRHYItmNKwofpzxmmj6sHh7I9JmOR5Lsw2eYqUjMyhkzTdKvykQzbFp62Jm9EhORIIffWBw5gpa3D2qz8gYBg/w640-h426/image.png" title="Little Angel Appeared, Person Holding a Quran" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The son prepared himself by wearing several layers of clothing to ward off the cold. After getting ready, he said to his father, "Oh, my father, I am ready." </div><div style="text-align: justify;">His father asked, "Ready for what?" </div><div style="text-align: justify;">He replied, "To distribute books as usual." </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The father said, "It's very cold outside, not to mention the heavy rain." </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The son responded with an amazing answer, "But, indeed, many people are walking towards hell out there under the pouring rain."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The father was taken aback by his son's response and said, "But I won't go out in this weather." </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Finally, the son asked for permission to go out alone. The father paused for a moment and eventually gave permission. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The son took some books from his father to distribute and said, "Thank you, my dear father."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Under the heavy rain, accompanied by the biting cold, the child carried those books, which he had wrapped in a medium-sized plastic bag to protect them from getting wet. He distributed books to every person he encountered. Not only that, but he also approached several houses to spread the books.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Two hours passed, and only one book remained in his hands. However, no more people were passing through that alley. Finally, he decided to visit a house across the street to deliver the last book.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Upon reaching the front of the house, he rang the bell, but there was no response. He tried again several times, but the result was the same. When he was about to leave, it felt like someone was holding him back, so he tried once more, accompanied by a small knock on his hand. Actually, he didn't understand why he was so curious about that house.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The door slowly opened, revealing a very sad-looking old lady. The lady said, "Can I help you, my child?" </div><div style="text-align: justify;">The boy said (with gleaming eyes and a smile that illuminated the world), "I apologize if I disturb you, but I want to convey that Allah loves and cares for you very much. Then I want to give you this book. Inside it explains about Allah the Almighty, the obligations of a servant, and some ways to earn His pleasure."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">A week passed, and as usual, the imam delivered a sermon at the mosque. After the sermon, he invited the congregation to consult with him. Faintly, from the women's row, an old woman said, "No one knows me here, and no one has visited me before. A week ago, I was not a Muslim, and the thought had never crossed my mind even slightly. My husband passed away, leaving me alone in this world."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">And she began telling her story of meeting that child. "At that time, the weather was very cold, accompanied by heavy rain. I decided to end my life. I was deeply saddened, and no one cared about me. So, there was no reason for me to live. I climbed onto a chair and put a rope around my neck, which I had prepared earlier. When I was about to jump, I heard the sound of a bell. I paused for a moment and thought, 'I'll be gone in a little while anyway.' But the sound of the bell and the knocking on the door became louder. In my heart, I said, 'Who would bother visiting me? No one will knock on my door.'</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I released the rope that was ready to end my life and hurried to the door. When I opened the door, I saw a little child with a gaze and a smile that I had never seen before. I cannot describe his appearance to you.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">His gentle words touched my lifeless heart and revived it. He said, 'Madam, I came to convey that Allah the Almighty loves and cares for you very much.' </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Then, he gave me this book (the Book of the Path to paradise).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0Pf49YiQsOojBmkdFv_hxALIoMLhBumbgu0iXgilcmHjUsM-ULavOBRU_ppvOIgjNLhY6BKhUxLlyQ9lgJGXIhGgOHt4zBTLG7GucK3XkKeU70SCBVp_Zc_mcAR5EvphIE4m1b8MO-Vdvuv5mHaYH3jQIwuhPUjYqC7iO9EEMM79Zq4f83WCH1ExpSA/s1600/image.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Little Angel Appeared to Me" border="0" data-original-height="1056" data-original-width="1600" height="264" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0Pf49YiQsOojBmkdFv_hxALIoMLhBumbgu0iXgilcmHjUsM-ULavOBRU_ppvOIgjNLhY6BKhUxLlyQ9lgJGXIhGgOHt4zBTLG7GucK3XkKeU70SCBVp_Zc_mcAR5EvphIE4m1b8MO-Vdvuv5mHaYH3jQIwuhPUjYqC7iO9EEMM79Zq4f83WCH1ExpSA/w400-h264/image.png" title="Little Angel Appeared, Rainy Days" width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;">That little angel suddenly appeared to me and disappeared in the pouring rain that day. One day, she dreamed that a man was coming. In his dream, the man asked him to invite his neighbor who never prays for Umrah.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">He was shocked by his dream but he didn't care. Strangely the same dream repeated. Finally, he went to a shaykh to ask about the dream. Shaykh said that if the dream repeats itself, he must realize his dream.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">And sure enough, he had another dream. Then he visited his neighbors to offer him Umrah together.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"Come on Umrah with us."</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"How am I going to perform Umrah while I never pray?"</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"Take it easy. Let's go. But, how can I do Umrah when I don't know how."</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"I'll teach you later in the car."</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Both happily depart for Umrah by car. After arriving, they carried out the prescribed guidelines.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Finish the procession. Both will return home.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"Before going home, do you want to do a charity that you consider important?" he asked his neighbors.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"Yes. I want to pray two rak'ahs behind Maqam Ibrahim."</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">The neighbor also prayed and an amazing thing happened. He died in prostration.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">The man who brought him was shocked and gasped. How could the man who appeared in her dream and was invited to perform Umrah, die as if he was the cause of his death?</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Finally, the body was brought back to his wife's house. He asked himself, how could a man who never prayed and fasted die during Umrah in a state of prostration of husnul khatimah? He thought there must be some special and secret charity he was doing.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">To the man's wife earlier, he asked about this.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"We have a neighbor who is an elderly woman. Unlegal a person's faith if he does not justify the doctrine of fate, without the slightest doubt that indeed He is the All-Knowing. Messenger of Allah said,</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"It is not a servant faith to the destiny that the good and the bad from Allah until he knows that what happened to him, not because of his mistake, and that mistake will not happen to him." (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi)</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Having faith in fate means we believe that Allah has complete, detailed, and certain plans for us.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">No matter how small that is related to us but has been written in His great plan. For example, the father and mother we have, what name is given to us, our soul mate, when will our time arrive, how many blessings for us, what will happen to us after leaving the world, and so on.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUKJVi1M0pN9xsOpJjhgC_UuoCyZsxT32P632cOKdzjTwt6C0OHztlSoO2DEIzVLpvvTkIQmYwtobhJa3uAXgnJeXrOk_4Gq7x9C1bwncT_XeoCYagkdSeK3DnUmt7cLfQVLe_f5MCjzGHd9aubLILXSg5dfXNdcWHt7vjEIB3Fe2z46KdzVpVKakX/s720/image.png" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="Qadr of Allah Meaning" border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="440" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiUKJVi1M0pN9xsOpJjhgC_UuoCyZsxT32P632cOKdzjTwt6C0OHztlSoO2DEIzVLpvvTkIQmYwtobhJa3uAXgnJeXrOk_4Gq7x9C1bwncT_XeoCYagkdSeK3DnUmt7cLfQVLe_f5MCjzGHd9aubLILXSg5dfXNdcWHt7vjEIB3Fe2z46KdzVpVKakX/w392-h640/image.png" title="Qadr of Allah Meaning, qadr of allah, al qadr meaning, what does al qadr mean" width="392" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Understanding Qadr of Allah Meaning</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><br /><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Allah says:</p><p style="text-align: justify;">“Say, ‘Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our protector’: and on Allah let the believers put their trust." (At Taubah 9: 51)</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">In other words, all the drama of human life from birth to death follows the plans that have been established by Allah without being able to be changed and quarreled, whether the big or small, the past, present, and future.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Most men misunderstand look the teachings of fate. When his past is filled with failures, they tend to perceive that it is his twist of fate. They tend to think negatively. They conclude that there is no possibility to change themselves. They become apathetic and passive. Though that unsuccessful may not be because of him because Allah has not willed it.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">If someone tried but has not been too successful, does not mean they can not be capable. It does not mean they can not afford to. Perhaps the lack of success arises from the sense of their subjectivity.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">They forget that success was obtained through several efforts and experiments. Various failure experiences maybe become an important capital to reach success. Instead, people whose past is filled with success, tend to have an optimistic mental overload. They feel as if the success is his twist of fate. They see themselves as not possibly falling. They do not realize that the world and life are experiencing ups and downs (volatile).</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">If destiny fails immediately visited them then they can not accept it. They tend to scapegoat others and God. They were just ready to accept victory and not ready to accept defeat. They become arrogant and haughty, jealous and hurt. It is man, most do not understand about fate. It will thus give birth to a human whose soul is split, unbalanced, and not intact (split personality).</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>How Our Attitude Toward Qadr of Allah</i></h2><p style="text-align: justify;">The Prophet provides us with beautiful guidance in addressing fate itself. Word of his saying,</p><p style="text-align: justify;">"Be excited to acquire what is beneficial to you, ask help from Allah, and do not ever feel helpless. And when you are hit by a misfortune thou shalt say, 'If I do (this) of course will become this and so.' But let's say, 'Allah has destined (so).' And what He wills He does, because the word "if" will open the devil's door (space). (Narrated by Muslim)</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Based on the hadith above, there are at least four important lessons about faith in fate, that are:</p><p style="text-align: justify;">1. Humans must first determine clear goals about what is beneficial to their own life. We may seek to acquire knowledge, wealth, power, influence, and the other so long as of all them are not to bring harm (danger) for himself and everyone else.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Verily Allah gives something to someone that is directly proportional to his mental picture. The Prophet in the hadith narrated by Thabrani and Abu Nu'aim fromWatsilah, says that Allah follows together with His servant presupposition toward Him. If good then will be good it is. If it is bad then bad will be.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">2. Do try as hard as you can. And then the result, submit it to Allah. Humans just trying, and He is The One who determines it.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">3. Do not forget to seek help from Allah when trying. Because, for Him, there is no hard, heavy, even less dead end. He is The Ruler of all without any limits.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">4. Do not feel helpless, because every human being has been given tremendous potential.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">If today we are overwhelmed with grief, do not dissolve in grief. Conversely, if we are on the rise, do not dissolve in pleasure. Surely the pleasure is not eternal.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>The Dangers of "If"</i></h2><p style="text-align: justify;">The Prophet always taught Muslims to think positively. Here are the concrete steps:</p><p style="text-align: justify;">1. Do not say, "If I did that it would have happened like this." Or, "If I hadn't done this, it wouldn't have happened like this."</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">That words mean that we forget that what has happened in the past conforms with what is destined for us at that time.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">2. But said, "Allah has destined so and what He wills He does."</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">So what has happened to us is the will of Allah that can not be avoided and altered by anyone. We must accept it as a reality. We have to be realistic. We do not have to dissolve in disappointment, so we do not waste energy on destructive things.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">3. Do not say "if" when have objections to fate. The words "if" will just open the devil's door.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">What we assume now to be done or not done in the past, as well as the effects of the supposed actions, is impossible to happen. Therefore, the past may not be pulled back to be fixed according to our will today.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">So what benefits of saying if? Those words will trigger only regret protracted, uncontrolled anger, fiery revenge, greed, and spitefulness. Every of those was just going to spend energy and human potential.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">We have to realize that life in this world must have ups and downs. That's the romance of life. Even maybe by that romance's rewards flowing to us. Is not the reward directly proportional to the degree of difficulty and hardship of Moslem? Help from Allah is impossible to come by way of instant (suddenly) and free. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">wallahu a'lamu</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">An article from Hidayatullah magazine in November 2012</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: white;">Qadr of Allah Meaning, qadr of allah, al qadr meaning, what does al qadr mean</span></p>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6555599314215358298.post-20253158315359212482023-04-27T11:20:00.005+07:002023-04-27T11:20:44.915+07:00Keeping Straight Shaf in Prayer<div style="text-align: justify;">Among the things related to prayer that should be taken seriously and should not be underestimated is the straight and close shave (rows in prayer). (Al-Baqarah 2: 65) Then so be they apes.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">So Allah was able to turn the human neck so the face was in the back and it was a penalty that could be felt by five senses.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As other scholars consider, that the meaning here is not literal but maknawi (interpretation) which is the quarrel (dispute) in the heart, because the heart has a direction, then if it is agreed to one-way, one view, one of the aqidah and manhaj, so it will get a lot of goodness. But on the contrary if it in dispute be broken to pieces ummah will.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">So that the dispute referred to in this hadith is the quarrel in heart, and this is the most authentic and correct interpretation, as there are in most of the text hadith, "or indeed Allah will turn between your heart."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">For this reason, the word of his, "then indeed Allah will divert your faces ", that you view this as happening with the dispute in the heart.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEitC7gDqCUIib5FboeBo3fzq2YuCkRhFq7i4SiM1EkmzPU940N5UwlRhqK7jhlDlPMmAn5FYLk7iFLnhYtpIE34XIXWSvEryUJQGYVUxUjtqKqvNUOPM4TgwlpbANOELmgfFKawLeUKU90jO_pYIIrkPt60y2MKWzG2PcvRgba9zwNTAatOaexfx2I4" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Keeping Straight Shaf in Prayer" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="960" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEitC7gDqCUIib5FboeBo3fzq2YuCkRhFq7i4SiM1EkmzPU940N5UwlRhqK7jhlDlPMmAn5FYLk7iFLnhYtpIE34XIXWSvEryUJQGYVUxUjtqKqvNUOPM4TgwlpbANOELmgfFKawLeUKU90jO_pYIIrkPt60y2MKWzG2PcvRgba9zwNTAatOaexfx2I4=w400-h266" title="Keeping Straight Shaf in Prayer" width="400" /></a></div><br /><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>The Obligation to Straight The Shaf (Rows)</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">However in this hadith, there was a postulate about the necessity of straightening the rows and the obligation upon the people to straighten their rows-rows in the congregation prayers, and if they do not straighten it, then indeed they have prepared themselves to get the punishment of Allah.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">This postulate, the obligatory straightening of the rows is the right postulate, so shall the imams pay attention to the rows, if obtained there is a little forward or back then the imam have to warn them to straighten it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Prophet also sometimes walked among the rows of people to straighten it with his hand from the first to the last rows.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">As more and more people in the age of Caliph 'Umar,' Umar also ordered someone to straighten the rows when the iqamah (the sign of starting a prayer) has been echoed. If the person who commissioned it had come and said. "Shaf is straight” 'and then 'Umar takbir to start the prayer.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Similarly, this is done by Caliph 'Ustman bin' Affan, someone was commissioned to straighten the rows of people when the person came and said, "Shaf has straight", he takbir to start the prayer.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">All of this shows the high attention of the Prophet and Khulafa'ur rasyidin (caliphs after the Prophet Muhammad) in the matter of straightening the rows.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i> Most Muslims Unruly</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">But indeed very regrettable, now we will see people ignore about straighten the rows, so someone advanced one step back, not caring about the straight and closing of the rows.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sometimes in the first rakaat, the rows are still straight, then after bowing in the first rakaat, the rows begin to change. One will forward and the other slightly to the back and they do not straighten the rows in the second rakaat. Even if they stay that way, not straightening the rows in the second and later, this is a mistake.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Wonder when there is someone who understands the obligation of straightening the rows when he becomes the imam, then he carries out the instructions of the Prophet by examining the people and telling them to straighten the rows, we find most of the people were reluctant, do not make straight and tight rows. Even their legs are far apart from one another. In the situation they already know or not of the hadith above. Wallaahu Musta'an.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">May Allah guide all the Muslims to be the ones who obey Him and His Messenger, as the nature of the good believers is sami'naa wa atha'na (we hear and we obey), not sami'naa wa 'ashainaa (we hear and we break it).</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The point is very clear that it is an obligation for the imam and people in the congregation prayer to straighten and tighten the rows.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgM6nRbJv8aqz3N4-HDQHi88K6Q4hoY6RpPEgfx2sB4axv36_u9DZl-IWierWVgFlySPW3YUb3WACLGKenZhe4V3FK0VWMK__Q4rq-rM0HNPhNFKk-anXd0Rrt7onYk7Utm93aWq8MUYKk4qfUbz-i0z5GCRsSGVKBgR5ZdbX5AzDFBFU8BpCCNQphP" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Keeping Straight Shaf in Prayer" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="960" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgM6nRbJv8aqz3N4-HDQHi88K6Q4hoY6RpPEgfx2sB4axv36_u9DZl-IWierWVgFlySPW3YUb3WACLGKenZhe4V3FK0VWMK__Q4rq-rM0HNPhNFKk-anXd0Rrt7onYk7Utm93aWq8MUYKk4qfUbz-i0z5GCRsSGVKBgR5ZdbX5AzDFBFU8BpCCNQphP=w400-h266" title="Keeping Straight Shaf in Prayer" width="400" /></a></div><br /><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>If Only There were The Imam and A Person</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">If anyone asks, "If there is only an imam with a person alone, whether imam be slightly forward or become one line with?"</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The answer is the imam shall be in line with the person. Imam is on the left while he is on the right of the imam as if there is only the imam and one person, then it means that there is only one row. The person may not be alone in the back of the imam, even the right one is they both are in the same row (line) and with imam. By being in the same row it will be straightness in the row.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The postulate is that when the Prophet was in his night prayers, Ibn 'Abbas came and stood to the left of him, then he pulled Ibn 'Abbas and made him right next to his right. (Muttafaqun ‘alaih)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">This differs from what is said by some scholars, "That the imam shall be a little forward". This is argument has no postulates even in contradiction with the postulate above that explains shall the imam and the person be in the same row (line) if only both of them together.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Then the other narration mentioned, "That the Prophet commonly arranged our shaf (rows) straight as if he were straightening an arrow." So be their shaf (rows) perfectly straight so no one came forward or back although a little.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The Prophet used to straighten rows as if straightening arrows so when he saw that the companions have understood, that they understood and knew of the straight rows should be then he started the prayer. As the hadith mentioned in the first section.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">What if he saw the rows become nowadays? Can we imagine what would be said by the Prophet when he saw the situation as now?</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><h2 style="text-align: justify;"><i>Imam Should Check The Shaf Formed</i></h2><div style="text-align: justify;">On that hadith, also explain to us that the Prophet always checked rows of his people, and also straightened and tightened them. Even he reminded people if there was a mistake as in the story in the hadith above.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The conclusion is obligatory upon us to explain this matter to the imam of mosques and thus also to the people so that they pay attention to it that is so important they will correct their prayer. Because our prayers are the first ones that will be counted on judgment day. If our prayers are wrong or not complete so we will become lossy.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">From Anas, he said: "The Messenger said: "Correct your shaf, because in truth evening the rows include the sign of the perfection prayer."(Muttafaq' alaih)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">May Allah always guide us to what is loved and blessed him. Wallahu a’lam (Allah the one who knows best)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Sources of Reference</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Original posts in Indonesian by Abu Rashid Ash-Shinkuaniy</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Adapted from Sharh Riyadus Shalihin with some additions and changes</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0United Kingdom55.378051 -3.43597327.067817163821154 -38.592223 83.688284836178838 31.720277
